This website loaded REALLY slow for me. Which isn’t a good sign for a project dedicated to testing network speeds
But, when the page finally loaded, the tools they offer sound great. I can’t wait to test these at home.
Measurement Lab was founded by the New America Foundation’s Open Technology Institute, the PlanetLab Consortium, Google Inc. and academic researchers.

Use tools running on M-Lab to test your Internet connection.
Test your connection speed and receive sophisticated diagnosis of problems limiting speed.
Test whether BitTorrent is being blocked or throttled.
- Network Path and Application Diagnosis
Diagnose common problems that impact last-mile broadband networks.
Determine whether an ISP is giving some traffic a lower priority than other traffic.
Determine whether an ISP is degrading the performance of a certain subset of users, applications, or destinations.

This morning I opened my email to a terrible sight; the closing of T-Shirt Hell. there are too few sites that push the limit on what they share with their community, and to lose one of the greatest un-wavering e-retailers is a devastating blow to the internets as a whole.

EA has signed on with Valve’s highly popular digital distribution program Steam to distribute their games including recent releases, and with some added good news. Titles such as Spore and Mass Effect that have come under heavy fire for DRM usage, will no longer have any SecuROM protection. All games will use Steam’s DRM.

More specific results for image searches, thanks to Google.
http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/12/new-search-by-style-options-for-google.html
So some time ago we launched face search, which lets you limit your search results to only images containing face…
More recently we also rolled out photo search, which limits results to images that contain photographic elements, ignoring many cartoons and drawings which may not be useful to you…
Today we’re pleased to extend this capability to clip art and line drawings…

http://www.snappages.com/
Great place to make a web page for people who know NOTHING about web programming. VERY easy to use. I plan on sending this to my parents! Allows for pictures, video, calendars, maps, and others.
