A tool that lets you re-order, note, and add to your own search results.  This doesn’t effect how other people see their search results, but you can at least customize your own (while you’re logged in).  Hmmm, how useful will this really be?  It might be useful if they categorize people to give certain groups better results for what they’re most likely searching for.  Thoughts?

This program’s called Snaptell.  You take a picture of an item on your iPhone, it finds a book/cd/dvd/game with cover art that looks similar.  Pretty quickly, too.  Gives you useful information like Barnes & Noble, Wiki, Google, Yahoo.

An interesting article posted by androidguys.com relating to Flash, Andoid and the iPhone.

http://androidguys.com/?p=2824

“Alongside Adobe’s Kevin Lynch, Andy showed Flash running within a web browser, signaling to the world that Android is ready to handle the technology.”

“Speaking of, here’s what Wired has to say today.  In an article called “Why Apple Will Never Permit Adobe Flash on the iPhone“, Brian X. Chen posits that Flash is so rich and full featured that it could ultimately create apps that take run through the internet, in turn, take away from Apple’s bread and butter, the App Store.”

Steam is offering 22 Valve games for $99, this includes the unreleased Left 4 Dead.

This is a great deal if you do not have these games already, and even if you have a few of them it is still not bad!

Here is a link to the actual offer with its complete contents:

Google is releasing a voice-based search for iPhone.  Supposed to be released soon.  Apparently they’re not releasing it for Android, yet.  Weird…

“What’s interesting is that Google has launched the voice based search for the iPhone rather than the G1. Google could well keep the new technology for itself that could shoot up the sales of the G1 exponentially. But Google has decided to go with the iPhone first. Google executives admitted that this could result in more ad revenues especially from the local businesses for the location-based services.”

“Speaking in an interview with Shacknews, Games for Windows Live general manager Chris Early confirmed that Microsoft has definite plans to distribute full PC titles through its Marketplace application in the future.”

Valve

Also, before Steam was created, they apparently pitched the idea to both Microsoft and Yahoo, but both rejected: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/microsoft-and-yahoo-rejected-steam-says-valve

As the title expresses, this post is being posted from my new toy, my awesome iPhone. The posting of this thus perfects my desire to be more mobile while still being able to take you with me… Cheers!
Expect to see more frequent posts by me in locations other than my home.
In similar news I signed up to receive info on E3-09 and plan to go to that next June.
