“Alongside Adobe’s Kevin Lynch, Andy showed Flash running within a web browser, signaling to the world that Android is ready to handle the technology.”

“Speaking of, here’s what Wired has to say today.  In an article called “Why Apple Will Never Permit Adobe Flash on the iPhone“, Brian X. Chen posits that Flash is so rich and full featured that it could ultimately create apps that take run through the internet, in turn, take away from Apple’s bread and butter, the App Store.”

I remember in one of apples dev conferences last year, per Steve Jobs, the reason flash wasn’t allowed on iPhone is because he hated how bloated it was and challenged adobe to make a more optimized version.

I am going to doubt that they really care about the apps as anyone has the ability to make apps and choose to either distribute them as web apps or via the app store…

Booooooooo. Anyhow, it does make some sense business wise….however I still hate how some companies hide behind things like this.
