So a lot has been happening lately. Work has picked up and I finally have the position I have wanted for months now. I still do IT for the campus but I am staff so I get the bigger paycheck and respect that comes with full time employment. Hopefully someday I will be able to get a better company PC so I will be able to better assist my users…

The advancement of my job and the eminent loss of my transportation has created not only the need but the desire to purchase another means of moving one’s self from one locale to another. My initial idea and still future plan is to buy a motorcycle. Some pros of owning a motorcycle are; it would be easy on gas, I don’t have to drive people places, and I get to look cool while riding. the only con I can come up with is death or severe injury, so I figure I should wait on the motorcycle until my insurance kicks in. So instead, I bought a standard manually operated bike; with all the gear it cost me about 1 grand and has all the features I figure are important for commuting in CA. I also figured this was a good purchase knowing that I am trying to loose another 20 pounds and the added cardio will only make the weight drop faster.

Speaking about my weight, I have been growing my beard as incentive to lose my weight… I have some pics up on my facebook so my friends can see how ridiculous I look with a beard… I may post a pic here later if you guys really want to see me. I like to think I am in some kind of training for when I get my motorcycle and will be expected to have some amount of facial hair to be considered hard enough to hang out in biker bars… :P

The important thing is that every day I am feeling better about everything. I feel more fit at this moment than I have for a long time, I have a girl that I am interested in and will see where that goes, I have a well paying job that respects my knowledge and experience, I “live” in a house and will someday actually be settled there… oh yeah and I am getting Little Big Planet soon and I am really expecting big things with that.

So yeah, this was just a quick note to say hello and let you all revel in the inner workings of my current life.

Ciao!

So I have been through a lot lately… Ever since coming back to America I have moved a few times and have yet to settle, thus the reason I update so infrequently.

This post is more personal as in there is no news of hardware or games coming out just an update of my situation and the things I have done since I have been back. I will continue with news and interesting technogasms when I get a place to settle my PC.

I currently live with some friends in Fremont, I moved in after being unknowingly moved out of the apartment I was paying rent for… Long story…

I finally found some full time employment, I had some offers along the way but I decided to stay at the university in hopes they find something more permanent for me. My other offers included IT for a non-profit in Oakland and also for a hospital in Hayward… neither sounded as lucrative as the university with the benefits and higher pay.

One of my goals upon returning to America was to loose the extra weight I had gained in Korea. since I have returned i have Lost 15-20 pounds and gained a lot of the stamina I had lost. I have hit a little bit of a plateau but I feel I am about to break through the barrier and loose the next 20 pounds. I have a running bet to keep my facial hair in all of it’s glory until i loose my weight.

In other news my memory on my new PC died… well one died so i am stuck with 1 gig until I get the new memory I ordered and am able to RMA the ones I have now; it should take a day or two as i prioritised it w/ next day air.

I have been spending a lot of time on my PS3 lately. The PSN games are damn fun, bionic commando rearmed is a must buy if you want a challenging look back into how games used to be. My PSN ID is Wissape. add me if you want to play some games.
